What we fix ondryers.
The fault is diagnosed and explained before any repair goes ahead.
No heat or low heat
Test the heating element or gas igniter, the thermal fuses and the thermostats in the heat circuit.
Long drying times
Check vent airflow and the heat circuit when loads need more than one cycle.
Drum not turning
Check the belt, motor and door switch when the dryer runs but the drum stays still.
Belt, roller and idler repair
Replace worn belts, drum rollers and idler pulleys behind squealing or thumping noises.
Heating element and igniter replacement
Replace a failed electric element or gas igniter once testing confirms the fault.
Thermal fuse and sensor checks
Test the thermal fuse and sensors, and check the vent, since a restricted vent can blow fuses.
We check the heat, the drive and the airflow, then fix what failed.

Heat tested. Airflow checked.
Gas and electric dryers, including LG, are diagnosed by system: heat, drive and airflow, so the repair targets the part that failed.
If a restricted vent caused the failure, you will hear about it, so the new part is not lost the same way.
Learn about our process
The failed part is confirmed before it is replaced.
What you notice
Runs, but no heatSymptomThe drum turns and the timer counts down, but the clothes come out damp.
Likely cause
Element, igniter or fuseDiagnosisOn electric dryers often a heating element or thermal fuse; on gas dryers, an igniter or gas valve coil.
What gets checked
Heat circuit and ventBefore repairThe heating circuit is tested and vent airflow is checked before parts are replaced.
From the first call to dry clothes.
Five stages. Heat, drive and airflow are checked separately, because a dryer can fail in any of them.
Call us
Tell us the brand, gas or electric, and what the dryer is doing.
When you callCheck the symptoms
The dryer is run to see whether it heats, turns and moves air.
On arrivalTest the parts
Element or igniter, fuses, sensors, belt and rollers are tested.
First visitSource the part
If the part is not on hand, it is ordered and a return visit is arranged.
If a part is neededRepair and confirm
The part is replaced and the dryer is run to check heat and drum movement.

Before the work begins
On electric dryers it is often a heating element or thermal fuse; on gas dryers, an igniter or gas valve coil. A restricted vent can also cause parts to overheat and fail.
